Ethiopian Green Coffee

Ethiopian green coffee is the foundation of Ethiobridge Traders. We work closely with farms, cooperatives, and washing stations across Ethiopia’s main coffee-growing regions, building long-term relationships around quality, processing, and consistency.

Our focus is not only on the cup, but on the people and decisions behind it. We spend time at origin selecting lots, understanding how coffees are grown and processed, and keeping clear communication between producers and buyers. This allows roasters to work with coffees that have a real story, one they can stand behind without adding complexity to their sourcing.

We support the process from sampling to export, helping buyers stay connected to origin while ensuring reliable logistics and quality standards.

Processing Methods

Washed Process Coffee

Clean and balanced coffees with bright acidity and clarity. Commonly sourced from Ethiopia’s highland regions and well suited for single-origin offerings and refined espresso blends.

Natural Process Coffee

Coffees dried with the fruit intact, resulting in fuller body and fruit-forward profiles. Often used in specialty programs and character-driven blends.

Anaerobic Processes Coffee

Select lots produced under controlled fermentation. Available in limited volumes and seasons for buyers seeking distinctive and differentiated profiles.

Sourcing Regions

Ethiopia’s diverse geography and climate allow for a wide range of coffee profiles and production styles. Ethiobridge Traders sources Ethiopian green coffee from established coffee-growing regions across the country, working with our own farms, trusted producers and supply partners familiar with export requirements and quality standards.

Key sourcing regions include Sidama, Guji, Yirgacheffe, Jimma, Lekempti, and surrounding production areas. Each region contributes distinct characteristics shaped by altitude, climate, and local processing practices.

Our sourcing spans both highland and lowland areas, allowing us to offer coffees suited for specialty, commercial, and blended applications. We follow a flexible sourcing approach, selecting regions and lots based on buyer requirements, harvest timing, availability, and consistency rather than fixed offerings.
